A Prayer for Grace

When someone treats me wrongly, I remember that, without God’s merciful Grace I am completely poor and am just as able to sin against my brothers, sisters and God.

Every time someone is unkind, hurtful or difficult I am privileged to once again  ever more faithfully. try to follow Our Lord’s teaching through the grace of the Holy Spirit.

Once again, I am graciously given the opportunity to more completely forgive, knowing that I need God’s forgiveness everyday.

Once more, I’m given the chance, to renew my love for God. To bless the one who curses me, to pray for the one who despises me and to do good to the one who harms me.

I can do all this through God alone,
