To not be thirsty

“ Jesus answered, “if you drink from Jacobs well you’ll be thirsty again and again, but if anyone drinks the living water I give them, they will never thirst again.” -John 4:13 - tpt .

Our soul can’t be satisfied with the material things of this world. However much we consume, we will always feel empty. What we’ve been taught to value so much feeds us so little. .
Jesus says that the water He gives us becomes a life giving, eternal spring for our soul. When this spring is the source of our joy, comfort, strength, purpose, value and peace we won’t thirst again.
