A Night Prayer
I stay close to You Father. You are my portion. You are the one who loves me and knows me like no other.
I can stay close to you and my heart shall be quiet amidst the noise of the world.
Amidst all that beseiges, all that attacks, I can remain still and quiet as a child who trusts their parent to bring them through it all, truer, stronger, more loving and more humble. The fires won't consume me only refine me.
With You all sorrow can be transfigured.
You are closer than we are to ourselves.
Nothing can seperate me from Your Love.
You are the green pastures and the quiet waters.
