I once had a vision

I once had a vision once of heaven, open before me at all times regardless of whatever I had to endure on earth.

That beautiful place is before me always, and it is before you too, right now, right here, even in the midst of suffering.

Especially in the midst of suffering.

Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.

Blessed the poor in spirit for theirs is The Kingdom of Heaven.

I am learning to let go of everything that doesn’t sing of heaven.

Once I choose to let go, things I thought I couldn’t do without seem like poor, cheap imitations of what is given in return.

God gives a hundredfold to our soul for what He asks of our life.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

How beautiful are these promises?

Thank you Jesus for all the beauty You give me. But mostly, thank you for giving me the gift of Yourself.
